There are lots of reasons why we do not often see this type of guitar. First it has 12 strings so it will be more expensive to buy. Secondly, because the 12 strings pulling the whole guitar has to be made stronger to withstand the tension so more work more expenses. Thirdly, the tuning because it is hard enough to tune a 6 string but with another 6 similar strings we might just as well forget it.
